In 1959, Mark graduated from the University of Alberta, earning a BSc. Mark enjoyed a long career with Park Davis, Warner Lambert/Pfizer. Following his retirement in Edmonton, Mark and Brenda moved to Calgary where he began work with Webber Academy. During his life, Mark was a tireless volunteer, first as the President of Greenfield Community League, the Kiwanis Club in Edmonton and also fund raising for many years of sons' hockey teams.
