Art Morton passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital on Sunday, October 16, at the age of 89. Art will be sadly missed by his son Colin of Ottawa, his daughter Lynn Ross of Saskatoon, his step-children Marilyn Negropontes, Judy de Forrest and Keith Christensen of Calgary, and their families. Art was predeceased by his wife Kaye and step-daughter Nancy Gardiner.
Born in Toronto, Art was a veteran of World War II, seeing action in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. His career as an accounting manager brought him to the Alberta oil patch, where he worked for many years.
A celebration of his life will be held in Calgary at a later date.
