Bang Yan Wang

Bangyan Wang, born in June 1933, former top mechanical engineer in the environmental industry in Chengdu China. He was a caring husband and father/grandfather, and has shred off his suffering from cancer on August 30, 2024 at the age of 91.

He will be remembered as a real gentleman, who is chill, kind hearted and easily going. He devoted most of his old age to his wife of 65 years Hua Zhang, who unfortunately suffered from dementia from her late 70s. Though with 2 daughters and 2 grandsons close by, Bangyan Wang still could find time for fun when he lived in Calgary Canada. He had traveled a lot domestically and internationally with his family members. He also participated a lot of social activities among the Chinese Senior communities in Calgary. Graduated from SiChuan University in the early 50s, not only was he was good academically, but he also loved entertainment and traveling. He enjoyed sports such as base ball, basketball, table tennis, pool etc. and liked music and singing. He also enjoyed playing chess and Majiang when he had time. His cheerful attitude and peaceful smile will be remembered and missed by all of us.

王邦彦，生于1933年，前环境保护领域高级工程师，关爱老伴子女的好丈夫好父亲好爷爷，与2024年八月三十日在与癌症的抗争中不幸去世。

我们会永远地记得他是一个真正的与世无争的绅士。他随和，热心，厚道，乐于助人。他将他的晚年奉献给了患老年痴呆的老伴张华，与老伴共度了65年的时光。连在送医院急诊之前都还去喂了老伴中饭。在老伴离世时冥冥中也似乎有感应，随后不久也追随老妻而去。不过王大爷在世时，有家里2个女儿和孙子陪伴，也同其他老人一样享受过很多欢乐时光。他与家人一道去了加国境内、欧洲、美洲、加勒比等玩乐，还参加了好些华人老人社团活动丰富业余生活。50年代毕业于四川大学的王大爷不仅在学术上拔尖，而且也不是一个书呆子。他热爱生活，热衷观光旅游，在85岁高龄还能玩迪士尼高空垂直降落。他从小就喜欢运动，像棒球、台球、乒乓球都是他的强项。此外他也喜欢音乐唱歌。年轻时还曾自编歌剧表演。有空时还喜欢邀约下棋打麻将，玩乐时的头脑比年轻人都清醒。本以为能长命百岁的王大爷，因突发重疾不得不撒手人世间。但是他老人家积极开朗的生活态度，温暖平和的关怀微笑将永远映照在我们心中。
