Barrie Gordon Irwin sadly passed away on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022 at the age of 81 years young in Calgary, Alberta. Barrie was born in Trail, British Columbia to his loving parents William and Helen Irwin. He will be joining his wife of 37 years, Lorraine in their eternal home.
Barrie is survived by his three daughters, Cathy (Glen) Smith, Carrie (David) Elhard and Christy (Duane) Erion and his six grandchildren whom he loved very much; Cale (Brittany) Smith, Ava Smith, Brenden (Sarah) Elhard, Colton Elhard, Joel & Nolan Erion. He is also survived by his brother/sister in laws, nieces and nephews. Barrie dedicated his life to God, his family and to serving others. We will miss our kind and gentle dad more than words can express, but we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and with Jesus.
Barrie's Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Skyview Community Church, 9685 Harvest Hills Blvd NW, Calgary, Alberta.
