It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved red-headed warrior. He fought to stay with us for fifteen years which was much more than anyone could have asked of him. We would like to express our gratitude to all the education assistants, nursing staff, teachers, and principals that made Emily Follensbee school one of Cale’s favorite places to be. His life was much fuller for all the swimming, music, social connections, compassion, and love that he experienced there. May you forever swim in the warmest of waters, listen to the most soothing of music, and laugh at the antics of Curious George. You will forever be in our hearts. Love Mom, Dad, Ashley and Reid. Donations in lieu of flowers should be made in Cale’s name to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation/Rotary Flames House. Cale’s quality of life was so much better for all the wonderful, compassionate staff he experienced in these facilities.
