Carl Henry Quapp passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on October 8, 2022. He was born in Coaldale, Alberta on February 7th, 1932, to Peter and Margaret Quapp. Carl married Marlene Sawatzky in 1957 and they expanded their family with twins Karren and Gary in 1958 and another son Darrell in 1959. After graduating from university Carl worked at Suncor Energy in Calgary as a Senior Planning Analyst until his retirement in 1994. After his retirement Carl and Marlene enjoyed being with family and friends as well as traveling. Marlene’s passing in 2010, just after their 53rd anniversary, left a huge hole in Carl’s life.
Carl remains in the hearts of those who have survived him; his daughter Karren (Jed) his son Gary (Miriam), grandchildren; Jarred, Krystina, Wesley and Daniel, his sister Elfriede (Ben), and his brothers Ernest (Mary), David (Mary) and Arthur (Elfriede). He was predeceased by his wife, Marlene, son Darrell, grandson Nathan, parents, Peter and Margaret Quapp, his sisters Agnes and Irma and brothers Willy, William, Edgar and John.
