Carol Ann Rogers

Carol Rogers passed away peacefully at the Silverado Creek Seniors Community on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 78. Carol will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Mark, Stuart (Nancy), Chris, Emma (Bruce), and her beloved grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her two brothers, Nigel and John, as well as her extended family. She was predeceased by Colin, her husband of nearly 60 years.

Carol was born on New Year’s Day in Middlesbrough, England, where she grew up and met her future husband, Colin. Colin and Carol lived in both England and South Africa before settling in Calgary, Alberta in 1981. Throughout their lives together, they raised four children and became doting grandparents.

Despite enduring years of poor health, Carol carried herself with extraordinary strength and quiet resilience. Her days were filled with challenges that many could not see, yet she never allowed illness to define her spirit. Her determination to live fully, even in the face of hardship, was nothing short of inspiring and a testament to her inner strength, her deep-rooted faith, and the love she held for those around her.

Carol's Celebration of Life will be held at Southview Church (20200 Walden Blvd. S.E.) on Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. As we gather together to celebrate her life, guests are welcome to wear bright colours, to reflect the joy and light she brought into all of our lives.
