This is very, very sad news. I've only found this out 3 years late but I am still stunned by fact that she is no longer with us. My sympathies go her her nearest and dearest.

You are dearly missed by your sisters, brother, friends and your life partner and soul mate Cindy. Everyone is trying to move on and we are all sharing stories and very fond memories of you. I am sure that you are in heaven with Vega now. We feel that you are safe and looking down on us and our antics. We miss you and your smile.

I was saddened when I heard that Chelleke had to leave this earth too soon.  My heart goes out to you in this time of grief.  Every time I ran into Chelleke at Home Sense she had a big smile and always took a few minutes to visit and to share a few stories about the dogs, camping, etc. - She was a really neat lady whom I feel privileged to have had the chance to get to know just a little bit.

Such a beautiful person I will never forget and whos smile I will always remember.  My love goes out to her family and loved ones.

I worked with Chelleke at Homesense, Market Mall. It was always a good day when she was in, I will always remember her love of candy and how she liked to brighten ones day by sharing it. And I will also always remember how much she loved to organize our potlucks and then partake in them as well. It was a honor to have known her, and I will always carry her memory with me.

God needed Chelleke desperatly to brighten up other lives that are miserable. We all have been blessed to have had her around for so long, since her birth to now, enjoying her beautiful smile, happiness and laughter. This could be the answer to the WHY. It does comfort me a bit.

To Cindy, Lily, Robert, Vicky and families - I met Chelleke when I was 8 years old! I was new to Baie d'urfe. Our Mom's had met at a coffee party and  Vega kindly said - our daughters should meet! We became close friends. We have not seen each other alot over recent years. The last time was a Vega's funeral. The childhood memories are still strong, and now they are a treasure. Sadness does not begin to describe our emotions.  We often ask "why" and yet there is no answer.  They say that God takes the good souls first and he certainly saw that in Chelleke.
