Connie passed away unexpectedly at the Peter Lougheed Hospital due to complications with her diabetes on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the age of 56 years. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her husband Daryl; son Jason (Jessica) and Connie’s granddaughter Kaylee; son Kirk (Katelyn); brothers Randy (Maureen), Mike (Sue), Tim (Kim), as well by numerous family members. Connie was predeceased by her parents Keith and June Mitton. A Celebration of Connie’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 204, 2323 – 32 Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 6Z3.
