Curtis Allen Haynes

Born on October 19, 1943 in Edgerton, WI, Curt was the son of Ethel and Kermit Haynes. He was a devoted husband of Carrie Haynes for 52 years and a loving father to Renae and Nathan.

Curt was a talented watercolour artist, innovative entrepreneur, and loving family man. Curt’s life was one of creativity, fun, and exploration. His passion for painting captured the subtle beauty of the natural world and his works were admired for their realism and depth. Beyond his art, Curt was a driven entrepreneur whose ventures reflected his creative spirit and hard-working nature.

He shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Carrie Haynes. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering support. Curt was a proud father to Nathan Haynes (Dorota Stefanowicz) and Renae Espey (Craig Espey). His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Sean, Helena, and Masza who brought him immense joy and pride. Whether joking around while gathered around a dinner table, exploring the outdoors and fishing, or showing off his targeting skills at the driving range, Curt treasured every moment spent with his family.

He will be remembered for his artistic joy, entrepreneurial drive, and the laughter he brought into every room. His quick wit, gentle pranks, and ability to nickname anyone touched the lives of all who knew him.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Curt’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to a local arts foundation or community program in his honour.
