He was born in May, 1961 in Calgary and spent his life here. Darrel grew up in a large household of siblings, there was always something going on. As an adult Darrel had a number of careers; a cook in restaurants, land surveyor in the oil and gas business, office furniture construction, many years in the car industry and most recently a handi-man. He had a passion for cars and spent countless hours building, tuning and working on them. He was an athlete and volunteer with Alberta Bobsleigh at Canada Olympic Park. Darrel was a hard worker, always there to lend a helping hand and friend to many.
He is survived by his siblings and their families; Cindy, Carol, Alan, Susan, Marlene and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by our Mom in 1978 and Dad in 1986.
A Celebration of Darrel’s Life will be held May 28, 2022. Details to follow.
