With heavy hearts we announce the passing of David Bliss, who passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the age of 48 years. David is survived by his mom, Rose and dad, Art; brother Darren; sister Kim (Nick); nephews Matthew and Cole; sister Karen (Robert); nephews Justin and Ryan and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved dog Riley. David was raised in Calgary, worked in the travel industry in Toronto for many years and then moved to Fort Lauderdale continuing his first love, his career in travel. David was very fortunate to travel to many beautiful places in the world and loved to share some of those adventures with his parents, grandmother and family. In keeping with David’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society, 201, 222 – 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3 or the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110 Avenue S.E.
