Don is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn, his mother Doris Dupont of Carstairs, as well as his sons and their families; son Robert (Loreli) and granddaughters Gina, Kaley and Morgan, and son Michael (Susan) and grandchildren Robert and Annette.
Don was predeceased by his father C.E., his daughter Barbara and his brother Bob.
Hailing from Morrin, Alberta Don came to make his life in Calgary where he made his mark in automotive related work and play, culminating in his induction into the Canadian Street Rodding Hall of Fame in 2009. Known as being 76 going on 17, he had the most incredible zest for life. His wacky sense of humor and the life lessons he taught will long be remembered by many.
