Donna Gael Hackney passed away surrounded by her family at the Sarcee Hospice in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Greg); sons Rodney, Claude, Micheal (Theresa), Timothy (Debbie); grandchildren: Derek, Dustin, Spencer, Ryan, Robyn, Geoffery, Jessica, Breanna, Matthew and Braydon; one great granddaughter, Hayden; and sisters, Jean Paskuski (Albert) and Judy Hutchison. Donna was predeceased by her husband Claude Hackney and her mother, Audrey and father, Geoffery. At the family's request, there will be no formal service. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the charity of one’s choice. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
