It was my privilege to teach on the same staff as Doreen early in my career and she provided me with a warm reception, many great pieces of advice and a few well meant criticisms.

Doreen provided teachers and staff members, young and not, with great leadership and a wonderful role model for professionalism. Above all Doreen was a valued friend and mentor!

Sincere condolences to her extended family!

Goodbye may seem forever. Farewell, is like the end, but in my heart is the memory and there you will always be.
We are so glad to have known Doreen our whole life. She was a huge part of our family. We shared many birthdays,Christmas, weddings, July 1st parties, afternoon visits, grocery trips, hospital visits together. We will miss her smile, her laughter, that look she would give you when she wasn't totally convinced.Doreen, was the only person we knew that could wear a Christmas shirt year around and get away with it. We will miss you, but thanks for being a special part of the Barkley family. We will cherish our memories of you forever. Hope you get to your resting place real soon as you deserve to be at peace.
