It is with sadness we announce the death of Dorothy Frances Bonner on October 14, 2011 at the age of 91 years. A longtime resident of the Balzac area, Dorothy passed away peacefully at the Southwood Care Centre in Calgary, AB. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Graveside Service will be held prior to the service at Queen’s Park Cemetery, 3219 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary at 2:00pm. For those who wish to attend, family and friends will meet at 1:45pm at the cemetery gates of Queen’s Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 3:00pm. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society, 201, 222 – 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
