Duncan passed away at home at the age of 86. He was born and raised in Port Arthur, ON, the youngest of three sons to Duncan and Mary Ann. He graduated from McMaster University with a masters in Physics, and then moved to Calgary to join Chevron. Duncan’s scientific highlights included “penance” in Chalk River, contributions to McMaster’s spectrometer and many ventures to oil-rich locations.
Duncan met and married his love, Beverley Gerke in 1958 and raised two daughters. He enjoyed news, sports and engaging conversations. He retired early to enjoy life. Duncan is survived by his wife Bev of 56 years, daughters Valerie (Mark) and Jill, brother Ken (Betty), sister-in-law Pat as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, nephew Kenny Jr. and brother Charles.
