Earl Garnet Raynard

Earl Garnet Raynard passed away in Calgary, AB on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Earl was predeceased by his loving wife Gladys Elizabeth of 49 years and also numerous siblings. Earl leaves behind four of his sons Norm (Penny), Bill (Carol), Larry (Fern), and Gary (Colleen), grandchildren and great grandchildren. Earl is survived by his sister Ellen Fraser and his sister-in-law Irene Van Sickle both are from Vancouver. Earl enjoyed his coffee with the group at North Hill Mall. Earl served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1942-1944 and returning to Saskatchewan retiring as a pipefitter. In 1979 they came to Calgary and helped with his son’s business. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, AB (across from the Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers and If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Calgary Poppy Fund and Veteran’s Food Bank 1, 4539 – 6 Street N.E.
