Edward “Al” Seddon, 88, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Vermillion, AB in 1936, Al lived a full and generous life defined by kindness, humor, and a deep devotion to family and community.
Al was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, known for his work ethic, sense of humor and volunteerism. He spent much of his life working as an Avionics Instructor at SAIT, serving in the RCAF, volunteering at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #264.
He is survived by wife Barbara, children David (Kasia) and Valerie, grandchildren Victoria, Kyle, Ian, Scott and Veronica, great grandson James, and brother John, who will remember him for his warm smile, and unwavering love. Al was predeceased by his loving wife Anne of 57 years, sister Marie, brother Art, parents Don and Emily Seddon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew United Church, 128 1 St E, Cochrane, AB, on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
