Evelyn was the fifth in family of ten. She spent most of her life in the Sacred Heart Parish and the Bankview area of Calgary. Evelyn served during WWII in active service in the Women Army Corp in Victoria, BC and she was discharged with the rank of Sergeant.
She was predeceased by her five sisters and four brothers George, Lillian, Alice, William, Kathleen, Albert, Dorothy, John and Audrey. She is survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
All remember Evelyn as a loving and kind Aunt who spent a great deal of time and energy to make sure that all the little kids were loved, cuddled, danced and sung to.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gerard’s Parish, (8944 Elbow Dr SW) on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
