Fern is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Curran; daughter, Lynn (Larry) Brunton; sons, Darwin and Dean Curran (Joanna Hall); five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and son-in-law, Gale Oman. She was predeceased by her daughter, Brenda Lea.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada, 3100, 246 Stewart Green S.W., Calgary, Alberta, T3H 3C8 or The Lung Association (COPD) National Office, 1750 Courtwood Crescent, Suite 300, Ottawa, ON K2C 2B5 or a charity of one’s choice.
