Florence May Crozier, age 92, of Calgary, Alberta passed away suddenly but peacefully on January 6, 2015 in Calgary. Florence is survived by her children Gerry (Marika) Crozier of Toronto, Ontario, Susan (Frank) Lowe of Calgary, Alberta, and Joan (Bruce) Estabrooks of London, Ontario; her grandchildren Glynnis (Alyssa) Mathieson-Bradac, Andrew Crozier, Ingrid Crozier, Courtenay Parkinson, Dylan (Caitlyn) Parkinson, Keirstin, Tyler and Ashley Lowe, Jennifer (Tim) Wilbee, Christie (Nick) Comly and Derek Estabrooks; and her great-grandchildren Charlie Wilbee, Hannah Wilbee and Harrison Comly. She was pre-deceased by her husband Merle Weldon Crozier (1969) and her grandson Todd Estabrooks (2004).
“Flo” will be remembered as a special person, shy, kind and gentle, and as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid sports fan devoted to her grandchildren’s activities, the Toronto Blue Jays, the Calgary Flames and the Calgary Stampeders. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Our family wishes to extend our gratitude to the Shawnessy Lodge for their support and the doctors and staff at South Health Campus for their compassionate care.
A Memorial Service will be held in Smith Falls, Ontario this summer. Further details will be made available through the Dignity South Calgary Funeral Centre.
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to a charity of your choice.
