Frances Sparrow peacefully passed away at her home in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, August 9 2011 in her 88th year. Frances is survived by her sons Ronald (Heather), Gordon (Elizabeth) and daughter Lorraine Hodgson (Alfred); dearest grandmother of six and great grandmother of three. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas Sparrow (1971) and son Stephen. Frances was a dedicated and devoted mother, who will be greatly missed. A Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Funeral Home, in Toronto, ON at a later date. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
