Francis departed this world on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with the biggest of hearts that anyone could ask for. He was known as the world’s most loving son, brother, father and grandfather.
Frank (known to all, unless it’s his mother) was welcomed to this world in Oyen, Alberta on July 31, 1950 by his loving parents (pre-deceased) John and Lucia Drewniak. He dug his heels into Calgary, Alberta in 1968 when he moved from Kindersley, Saskatchewan and called Calgary home. Here he eventually met his loving wife of 47 years, Donna Drewniak (nee Patterson) and created an amazing life that he lived to his fullest, stocked with humour, sarcasm and guidance.
Frank is survived by his wife, Donna, three children and four grandchildren, Theresa Drewniak (Kaitlyn), Carrie & Christopher Reeves (Becca, Kimber) and Robert Drewniak (Lochlan), whom all he loved with all his heart.
Frank, having a strong bond in his Catholic faith, joined the Knights of Columbus at an early age. He assisted in the creation, design, and building of St. Thomas More Catholic Church where he and his family worship.
Frank, being a very creative architectural draftsman since high school, eventually became co-founder of Form 3 Designs and was responsible for many beautiful homes in the Calgary area.
Prayers and Funeral Services with limited capacity due to Covid restrictions, will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations are made in his name to the Kids Cancer Care of Alberta at https://www.kidscancercare.ab.ca/get-involved/ways-to-give
