Gavin Douglas Nelson passed away at home on February 9, 2011 at the age of 49 years. Gavin was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised in Calgary, AB. He touched the hearts of many and will be sorely missed. Gavin is survived by his son, Cody McClaskin, mother, Jannice Nelson, two brothers, two sisters and numerous other family members. Gavin was predeceased by his father, Murray Nelson. Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street NW, Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm.
