December 11, 1924 – January 10, 2013
After spending 60 years in a wheelchair Geneva finally got her wings. On Thursday, January 10, 2012 at the age of 88 years and surrounded by her loving family, she went home to be with Jesus. Geneva was predeceased by LeRoy her husband of 63 years and brother Grant Nicks. She is survived by her brother Richard (Verna) Nicks; sister-in-law Esther Nicks; sons Tom (Ruth) Fleshman and Dave (Fran) Fleshman; daughters Sharon (Mas) Kobayashi and Joy (Brent) Fisher; nine grandchildren as well as nine great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at Northmount Baptist Church, 451 Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
