Gertrud Klaus

Gertrud Klaus passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on Monday, August 1st, 2022 at the age of 96 years. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter Debora, as well as by nephews and nieces, friends and neighbours. Gertrud was predeceased by her husband, Adolf and daughter, Marilyn. A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Markus Zeuch of St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. The Family would like to thank all of the staff of Unit 61 for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 66 – 7th Street NE, Calgary, AB T2E 4B7.
