Our Mom, Gertrude Roberts, died peacefully at home, and onto heaven, listening to her beloved hymns on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the age of 94.
She was born on December 10, 1922 in Calgary, to William and Margaret Ramsay. She had two brothers, Bill and Fred.
Mom was introduced to Dad (Carmen), while working at Birks Jewellers with Dad’s sister, Vivian. They were married in June of 1949. In 1952, they opened J.C. Roberts Jewellers and worked together for many years while raising 7 children.
Mom was predeceased by Dad, son John and grandson Chris. She is greatly missed and leaves behind 6 children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Northmount Baptist Church, 451 Northmount Dr NW, Calgary, AB, on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
