Gloria Caterina Steele passed away peacefully at the Cedars Villa Extendicare Home on May 15, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Gloria is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Louise Nason (Edmonton) and Emma Bingham (Cut Knife, SK) and her brother, Ben Paron (Cut Knife, SK) as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, Emelia and Isadoro Paron, her sisters, Dora Cooper (Edmonton), Jean Bonk (Calgary), Nellie Del Frar (Cut Knife, SK), Nora Zuchetto (Edmonton) and Olga Zuchetto (Cut Knife, SK and her brother Aldo Paron (Barlwinton, SK).
Gloria was born in Baldwinton, SK in 1935. She lived for many years in Edmonton, AB, Salmon Arm, BC and Enderby, BC before moving to Calgary in 2007. Gloria was an avid golfer, she loved to travel and was a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Cut Knife, SK at a later date with interment at the Baldwinton Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1.
