Grahame Cox of Calgary passed away surrounded by his family at the age of 69 on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Pat Cox for nearly 50 years, amazing father to Jason Cox and his wife Angela, Julie Niksic and her husband Milan and hilarious grandad to Tyler, Logan, Kyle and Liliana.
Born January 12th, 1948 in Seaford England to Bill and Joyce Cox, he immigrated to Canada at the age of five with older brothers Ian, Malcolm (D) and Colin and finally joined by Calgary born brother Brian. He was loved by all his brothers, their wives and his many nieces and nephews. Grahame worked in the power tool industry in Calgary for over 40 years and had become greatly respected in his field. His faithful travelling companions Gypsy and the VeeDub might miss him the most.
A Celebration of Grahame's Life will be held at the South Calgary Funeral Centre located at 12700 Macleod Trail South on Monday, July 17th at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the Calgary Humane Society and/or the Canadian Cancer Society.
