Hazel is survived by daughter, Wendy (Stephen) Grace; granddaughters, Skyeanna (Derek) Degroot, Stephanie (Devin) Satabe, Olivia (Steven) Blum; grandsons, John (Ekaterina) Wilson, Matthew (Erin) Wilson, George (Candace) Wilson; and daughter-in-law, Lynne Wilson (Bill Smith); as well as many loving, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Hazel is predeceased by her parents, Wordsworth and Olivia Rutherford; first husband, John Edwin Wilson; second husband, David Cavell Herd; son, Warren Wilson; sister, Jean Baird; stepdaughter, Diane Alaric and stepson-in-law, Murray Alaric.
If friends so desire, a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society where Hazel was a volunteer for many years.
A Memorial Service honoring Hazel will be held on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 for family and friends at Home Church, in Olds, Alberta from 3:30pm-5:00pm.
