Helen Gaetz passed away at home on Wednesday March 2, 2011. Helen is survived by children Jeannie (Blaine) Worger and Tom (Kelly) Gaetz and very special granddaughter Amanda Gaetz. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond J Gaetz. Helen was proud to have been born in Calgary. She lived the majority of her life in Calgary and small rural communities in Southern Alberta. She attended Crescent Heights High School and excelled in academics, music and track and field. At Helens’ request, no service will be held. Helen will join Ray in Red Deer. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2N 1Z6, or the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, 1-020 Li Ka Shing Centre for Health Research Innovation, University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, T6G 2E1.
