It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hilde Carlson. She leaves behind her husband Roy and children Cally (Mario, Giles, Christophe) and Thom (Genga, Kasia, Liven). Hilde loved her involvement in the Nurses’ Association, Engineers’ Wives and the Scandinavian Centre. She and Roy enjoyed travelling. This included an extensive trip to China and several trips to Europe. Hilde lived for her grandchildren with whom she spent as much time as possible. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends. A Memorial Service was held for Hilde at FOSTERS GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary on Monday, January 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Alzheimer’s Society of Calgary, 201, 222 – 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
