Irene Resch

Irene is lovingly remembered by her husband, Raymond Resch; sons, Doug Resch, Dwayne (Christina) Resch and daughters, Debbie (Gary) Olliver, Pamela (William) Resch Hackman, Lorie (Rick) Resch; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Alex Burak and brother, Russell Burak. Irene was born in Burnham, SK and married Raymond in 1975 and they moved to Calgary in the early 60’s. Irene was passionate about her family and friends and had fun times at the bingo hall and shopping malls. The family would like to thank the residents at the J.E. Harris Building who spent time with her and blessed our mom with their friendship and support. Irene loved to dance and took great joy in raising her pets throughout her life.

A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Irene will be laid to rest with her parents at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
