Ivy passed away peacefully at the Bowcrest Care Centre on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 91years.
She is sadly missed by her sons; Richard and Barry, her grandchildren; Michelle (Andy) Parkkari, Michael, Lindsay and Graham and great grandchildren Zackary, Rebecca and Elizabeth. Ivy was predeceased by her husband Alan Boyack and a daughter-in-law Lily Boyack. She was a devoted mom, grandma and gram. In her later years she started working at Cedar Villa as a recreational coordinator. Ivy also worked at the Bethany with pastoral care. She was active in her church and her community.
A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in mom’s name may be made directly to a charity of one’s choice. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
