Janine was born on August 13, 1975, in Regina, Saskatchewan, and lived her life with compassion, strength, and an open heart. She had a deep love for all living things, especially her beloved cats, Lincoln and Clarence, who brought her great comfort and joy.
Janine was a caring and giving individual who generously volunteered her time at the food bank and Meow foundation, always looking for ways to help those in need. Her kindness and empathy were felt by everyone who knew her.
She was a strong woman who faced life determined to beat the odds, carrying hope and joy at the forefront of everything she did. Growing up, Janine was a carefree soul—always ready for a good time with her friends and brothers. She loved dancing, singing, and sharing laughter, and those moments will be cherished forever.
Janine built a successful career as a Senior business office advisor with Cenovus, where her intelligence and dedication and attention to detail were deeply valued.
She is lovingly survived by her parents Robert and Carol Dolha; her brothers Jason (Rosetta) Dolha, and Shane Dolha; her boyfriend Brian Roulston, along with extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Janine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her generosity, her spirit, and her unwavering love for life.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janine’s memory directly to the The Calgary Food Bank or MEOW Foundation, causes that were close to her heart.
