Jean Evelyn Pay, in her 99th year, died peacefully at Foothills Hospital, Calgary, on April 4, 2012. Jean leaves behind daughters, Pat Lehr of California, Judy (Knox) of Virginia and son Rick (Kim) of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Pay and son Ian. She was the proud grandmother of Pam, Mandy, Mattie, Sadie, Emmie, Daniel and Liddy as well as great-grandmother to Knox, Eve, Aliza and Dashiell.
She will be missed by her sisters Joy and Gerry, many nephews, nieces and friends throughout Canada.
Jean was born in Radisson, SK and moved to Ontario after marriage. She lived in the Ottawa area over 50 years and lived out her retirement in Sardis, BC and Calgary, AB.
No service will be held at Jean’s request.
