I worked with Jeff as a vendor for his family's business. He was always a warm and kind person and I am shocked and saddened by his sudden absence. My heart goes out to you, his family, for your tragic loss.

No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind... sad as it is. 
However, take comfort in knowing that Jeff is now resting in the arms of our Lord. 

As they say, when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. 

Just wanna tell you Cathy, Sam and Joyce:

Jeff is not gone. 

Jeff will live in your heart forever.  Just remember all the good times you all shared with Jeff and all the love he gave you all throughout the years.

please know you and the girls are in our prayers and hearts during this most difficult time. Do reach out to us if you need anything at all. Though our memory with Jeff was short through introduction from the Pailys, you both always had a place in our hearts. It was a pleasure knowing you both. Hugs and love always.

I am very saddened by the news of Jeff's passing. It was a pleasure working with Jeff for the last 12 years in the pump industry. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace Jeff.

I’m very sorry for the loss of Jeff. He was a good man. I’ve known Jeff for about the last 10 years through business. Jeff evolved to be my “go to” guy when I needed a centrifugal pump…and I needed many over the years. I would call even if it was last minute and crisis and Jeff would (in all cases) have the best quote…best price, best delivery, best quality and the best service. He was there always. From that work ethic we developed a relationship and became good friends. Even most recently with a large pump order this year and Jeff was there for me. Over the years I started a charitable golf tournament (for personal reasons) and Jeff was there to support and participate every year since 2008. We would go out for coffee or lunch a few times every year to keep in touch and had our annual Chinese New Year lunch where we always talked family…and in the last few years we talked about Jeff’s children. I will miss Jeff. He was a very good person, a good business man and a good friend.


Jeff, we will remember you as an honest and good person, as well as a gentleman. We pray for peace and comfort for you and your loved ones.

He is survived by his wife Joyce; daughters Caitlyn (3) and Natalie (1); parents Samuel Shen and Cathy Shen; siblings Lianna Shen (Alex Kirmse - Husband), Edward Shen (Katie Fung - Fiancee); nieces and nephews Henry, Pippa, Nolan and Claire; sister-in-law Stephanie Wong (Artur Kobylanski - Husband); father-in-law Max Wong; as well as his late mother-in-law Veronica Wong.
