Following a courageous battle with cancer, John William Blakemore passed away peacefully in Calgary on June 15, 2013 at the age of 62 years. John is survived by his loving wife Donna and son Bryan (Crystal), Mother Lois, also his sisters Kim and Kayleen. He was predeceased by his brother Mark Jackson.
John worked hard for many years as Senior Executive Management in the specialized field of cased hole logging, his strong work ethic, reputation and a dry sense of humour was known throughout all of Calgary. He loved the outdoors and entertaining, with a real passion for fishing.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Royal Canadian Legion #284, 606 – 38 Ave NE, Calgary on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
