He was born in England and obtained his B.Sc. (Honours) in geology from the University of Swansea, following which he immigrated to Canada to undertake Post Graduate studies at McGill University obtaining an M.Sc. degree. Malcolm spent most of his career working in the Oil Patch. He had many hobbies and pastimes as well as being a devoted Freemason. In 2006 Malcolm was elected Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Alberta.
Malcolm is survived by his loving wife and soul-mate Dawn, a son Jonathan, two nieces Jane and Gwyneth and a kind and loving sister-in-law Angela.
At Malcolm and Dawn’s request, Malcolm’s life will be celebrated at a private function for invited close family and friends. May the Supreme Architect of the Universe bless him and keep him.
