

Keith passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 79 years. Keith is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years Yole, daughters Teresa, Brenda (David) Marshall, Susan Cusack, Julie-Ann (Steve Douglas); grandchildren, Courtney, Joshua, Christopher, Amanda, Kianna, Kylan, Jessica and Joel; brother Harold (Vonnie); brother-in-law Jack West and numerous nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his parents Purvis and Annie, his sister Evelyn West, his great-granddaughter Brooklynn and one niece Mary Ann West. He was born on a farm in Princeton, ON and moved to Alberta in 1956. Keith loved to drive as was evident in his profession, first as a truck driver and later as a bus driver for Calgary Transit until his retirement after twenty-eight years of service. Keith loved to ski, golf, camp, bicycle and cruise on his motorcycle. He also loved to watch his home teams, the Calgary Flames and the Calgary Stampeders. A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Parkinson Society Canada, 4211 Yonge Street, Suite 316 Toronto, ON M2P 2A9 or the Canadian Diabetes Association 1400 522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5.
