Kelley Leanne Harack

We are saddened to announce that Kelley passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 36, after a long, courageous battle with mental illness. Kelley will always be remembered for her kind, warm, and beautiful soul that touched all those around her.

Left to mourn her passing is her loving and devoted partner Sean Stricker, mother Patricia Harack, brother Kevin Harack (Lisa), mother-in-law Winni Kohls (Stricker), brothers-in-law Ryan Stricker, Daryl Stricker (Tara), and Justin Kohls, treasured nieces and nephews Abigail and Lucas, Blake and Brooklyn, and Ronan; aunt Marilyn Herle, cousins Jared Herle, Chrissie, Angie, and Adam Harack.

Kelley was born in Calgary and spent her younger years connecting with her Ukrainian roots on the family homestead farm outside Hafford, SK. In her teenage years Kelley met the love of her life Sean working at their first job, where they fell in love, built a home, and raised two rescued tuxedo cats Benson and Layla. Kelley found joy in caring for those around her, having thought provoking conversations, spoiling her nieces and nephews, building DIY creations, and tending to her beautiful plants. Her generous spirit will be dearly missed by all.

A Celebration of Life will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 2:00 PM.

Guests are encouraged to dress in red and black in honour of Kelley.
