Ken passed away suddenly at the Mustard Seed, in Calgary, Alberta, on December 9, 2019 at the age of 61 years. He is survived, and lovingly remembered by his daughter Rachel Bartolian-Simpson; her mother Ingrid Bartolian; his mother Georgina Simpson; his niece Rayanne Simpson; his nephew Trevor Simpson; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his younger brother Wayne Simpson.
Ken was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He spent many sunny years in the Mexican Baja, where together with Ingrid, brought his beautiful daughter Rachel into the world. Ken was a very hard-working businessman, with many different ventures. He was fun loving, loved helping others and always had a positive outlook on life. Ken loved to write, adventure, and could spend hours floating in the ocean. He will be very dearly missed.
