Kirsten Whitney

She is survived and will be greatly missed by sons; Desmond (Jacqueline) and James (Tammie); daughter-in-law Pam and of course her three grandsons; Kurt, Evan, and Trent. Also leaving to mourn is her older sister Birgit and extended family in Copenhagen, Denmark, Mom’s birthplace.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob (2014) and son John (2017).

As per her wishes there will be no public service, instead a private celebration of life at a future date. We wish to thank the team on unit 81 at Foothills hospital for their care in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made in Mom’s memory directly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
