

Mr. Kok Lun passed away peacefully at AgeCare Midnapore in Calgary on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the age of 92 years.
Kok Lun was born on November 23, 1926 in Toi Shan, Canton, China. He grew up and married in China before moving to Hong Kong during the 50’s. Later Kok Lun immigrated to Calgary, Canada in 1972 with his family and worked in the hospitality industry, as well as raising his grandchildren. He was a longtime member at the Calgary Chinese Lee’s Association.
Kok Lun is loving remembered by his children; Fred (Jean), Ella (David Ko) and Dennis all of Calgary; grandchildren Manfred Lee (Marnie), Tammy Lee (Ray Chou), Alfred Lee (Gemma), Dr Amy Lee (Eddy Cheng), Edward Ko (Maii), Jessica Eslinger (Cole), Nicholas Lee (Stephanie Lee), Oliver Lee and Queenie Lee; great grandchildren McKenna Lee, Adam Lee, Wes Khuu, Scarlett Lee, and Isabella Ko, Mikayla Ko, Penelope Eslinger, and Samuel Eslinger.
Kok Lun was predeceased by his wife, Fung Chu in September, 2009.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
