Lillian Romanchuk

Lillian is lovingly remembered by her three children, Debora Cross (Ralph), Brian, and Sharon Samoil (Wendell); five grandsons, Andrew Cross (Tasha), Steven Samoil, Daniel Cross (Jenna), Thomas Samoil and Michael Samoil; and three great-grandchildren, Hannah, Paxton and Aria Cross.

Lillian was predeceased by her loving husband, John, in 2011. She was also predeceased by her parents John and Augustine Herndier, her brothers and sisters, Amelia Ring, John, Wilhelmina Ortt, Annie Pearce, Elizabeth Pachal, Olga Hack, Ernest, George, Karl, Lydia Lutz, and Otto.

The family would like to thank the staff of AgeCare Beverly Midnapore for their loving care of Lillian.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4th Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Lillian’s name be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Canada Research Program, 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4R 1K8.
