She married the love of her life, John Ivan Crnkovic, in 1966 and they moved to Canada to start their lives together in April 1967.
Ljubica is survived by her husband John; her three children, Rob, Margaret, and Johnny; and her four grandchildren, Kae, Daniella, Jakob and Cameron, whom she loved very much. She is predeceased by her parents, Ignac and Terezija Djundjus and her sister, Nada.
The family would like to thank the PD clinic and Foothills Hospital for caring for Ljubica.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Prayer Service at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF MARIJA BISTRICA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 14680 Deer Ridge Dr. SE, Calgary, AB on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
