Louise Elayne Duffin aged 71 years, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2022 at the Rockyview Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She has crossed the bridge to join her son Mark, who passed away in 2018.
Louise is survived by her husband Charlie; daughter Jennifer (John); brother Miles (Wendy); grandson Jacob; granddaughter Taylor and many dear friends.
She was a gentle soul, who will be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Louise’s outgoing personality had her enjoying shopping with her daughter, dinners out with friends and family, and live shows. She was always up for an adventure. Whether it be a spontaneous weekend in Canmore, or a month in Las Vegas. Louise was a lifelong resident of Lakeview.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview United Church, 3023 Lakeview Drive S.W. Calgary. In addition, a bench to honour Louise’s memory will be dedicated in the nearby park.
