Margaret “Joan” Knopp passed away peacefully at the Southwood Hospice on May 5, 2014 at the age of 80 years. Joan is lovingly remembered by her son Gary and his wife Lisa, daughter-in-law Diana and her children Kari and Myles, brother Harold and his wife Mary. She was predeceased by her son Kurt.
Joan loved her adopted city of Calgary and the surrounding mountains where she found great joy in her many excursions. Every year she looked forward to the Calgary Stampede as well as the equestrian events at Spruce Meadows.
