Margaret McClelland

Maggie was born September 27, 1943, in Galt, Ontario. She was the only child of Roy and Annetta Pfohl.

She taught with Waterloo County School Board in Ontario until starting with the Calgary Board of Education in 1975.

For the first part of her career she was known as Mrs. Harper and then during the latter part as Miss. McClelland. Before retiring she was Librarian at Western Canada High School.

Maggie requested that there be no funeral.

Maggie loved her friends, teaching, singing, books, art, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the opera, antiques, skiing, and hiking and climbing in the Rockies. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

“Auntie” Maggie will be lovingly remembered by her god-daughter Rhiannon, Bronwen and dear friends Frances and Wayne.
